Today, St. Michael's held our Annual Leadership Retreat as Woodside. The retreat was lead by Joe Kormos, Parish Development Ministry Leader of the Diocese of the Midwest.

Jr. 'R' Club Hosts Poor Man's Raffle - 02/09/12
Tonight, our Jr. 'R' Club hosted their annual reverse raffle. Over 125 guests attended and hoped that their number would be the last one called. Proceeds went to benefit the Jr. 'R' club's trip to the National Convention in New Jersey.

Samaritans Celebrate 30+ Years as Church Group - 02/08/12
Today our Samaritans Group celebrated 30+ years as a church Organization. The group focuses on making blankets, quilts and other items that are then donated to different charities.

Prosphora Baking Day - 01/30/12
Today, parishioners of St. Michael's gathered to Prosphora making. Our team meets about once every two months to make Prosphora for the Divine Liturgy. After the Prosphora is made, we make pizza. We hope to see you next time.

St. Lawrence Project Meets - 01/21/12
Today our St. Lawrence Project met after Vespers and assembled over 300 ham & cheese sandwiches. These sandwiches will be delivered to the St. Herman House of Hospitality and will feed the poor and needy in the city of Cleveland. After the sandwiches were made, those gathered enjoyed pizza and fellowship.

Cleveland Deanery Youth Day - 01/16/12
On Martin Luther King Day, Orthodox youth gathered from around the Cleveland Deanery at St. Michael's Woodside for our 2nd Annual Deanery Youth Day. We began the day by watching the movie, Facing the Giants - which is filled with Biblical principles and lessons. Afterwards we ate pizza and played dodge-ball in the gym. Also attending this year's Youth Day was Bishop Matthias. His Grace spent the whole day with the youth and hosted a question and answer session. He was even spotted shooting hoops! It was a great turn out and a fun-filled day.

Deanery Youth Lock-in - 12/30/11
On Dec. 30, youth from around the Cleveland Deanery gathered for a Lock-in hosted by St Michael's at Woodside Party Center. Overnight, the kids played basketball and kickball, watched movies on the big screen, ate pizza. However, the most fun was had playing laser tag!

Today, parish youth and their parents visited 5 area nursing homes to sing Christmas Carols and spread holiday cheer to the residents.
